About Me
I am an instructional designer with an MEd in Learning Design and Technologies from Arizona State University. Before completing my MEd in 2024, I received my BA in Sociology from the University of Arkansas in 2016, and my MA in Sociology from the University of Arizona in 2018.
I began working for the Eller College of Management's eLearning and Multimedia team in 2018, as a program coordinator. Since joining the team, I have transitioned from handling clerical tasks in a handful of course spaces to working closely with the director of our team on the maintenance, design, and redesign processes for most of the online courses at our college. In 2020, I was reclassified as an eLearning Support Specialist, and in 2022 was promoted to the role of Instructional Designer II.
This website charts my progress throughout the LDT degree program. In my posts, I reflect on the courses I took, discuss some of the projects I worked on throughout the program, and consider how what I learned has helped me become a well-rounded instructional designer. I have also provided a series of work samples from my portfolio that I created as part of my coursework for the degree program, indicative of my growing proficiency in instructional design.
